Eduroam is a global initiative that gives staff and students access to the wireless networks of other educational and research institutions, with the credentials of their home institute.
VISITING PARTICIPATING INSTITUTES WITH EDUROAM
Staff and students FROM St. Mary's College, Newman College and the Academic Centre, visiting other institutes, should use their Academic Centre email address (eg email@example.com) and password to connect to the institute's wireless network.
VISITING ST. MARY'S COLLEGE, NEWMAN COLLEGE AND THE ACADEMIC CENTRE
Visitors from participating eduroam institutes TO St. Mary's College, Newman College and the Academic Centre should use the login credentials and settings provided by their home institute.
The service is provided with network address translation, we do not allow P2P, torrenting or TOR access. You may use VPNs.
All visitors access is throttled at 512kbps synchronous.
Note: We recommended users configure their devices for eduroam before they leave their home institute.

All of Newman College and all of the Academic Centre offer wireless access. There is limited wireless access at St Mary's College.
When you first join the network you are prompted to accept our certificate. To verify that you are connecting to the correct network the certificate issuer is Sectigo Limited, located in Salford, Greater Manchester, Great Britain. The common name of the certificate is eduroam.snac.edu.au and the organisational unit is Comodo SSL.
